Western Massachusetts-based soprano Ava D’Agostino is on the voice faculty at the Community Music School of Springfield (CMSS) where she holds several different positions including Program Manager and Director of the Children’s Chorus of Springfield and Program Manager and teacher for the early childhood program, Little Notes. She also teaches with Sonido Musica in Springfield Public Schools and teaches private voice at CMSS. She holds a Master of Music degree in vocal performance from the University of Massachusetts Amherst where she studied under Dr. Jamie-Rose Guarrine. Ms. D’Agostino holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education with a concentration in voice from State University of New York at Fredonia where she studied with Dr. Angela Haas. Her recent operatic credits include The Fire/Nightingale in Ravel’s L'enfant et les sortilèges and the Witch/Mother in Humperdinck’s Hansel and Gretel.
