Jim Crane is an oboist and flutist from East Granby Connecticut. He is the Principal Oboe for the Central Connecticut State University Sinfonietta. He also plays in the Hand Bell Choir at the East Granby Congregational Church. He has a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from the University of Connecticut and is employed as an engineer at Collins Aerospace in Windsor Locks. He lives in East Granby with his wife, Jolene and two daughters, Stephanie and Jamie.
