Known for his “fascinating and complex” stage presence, tenor Kevin Bryant has enjoyed a quick start to his performing career. This season, as a returning member of Tri-Cities Opera’s 2019-2020 Resident Artist Program, Mr. Bryant sings the roles of Spoletta in Tosca and Henrik in A Little Night Music. In the summer of 2019, Mr. Bryant took part in the Boston Early Music Festival covering the demanding title role of Orlando in Steffani’s Orlando generoso. He also performed the role of Evangelist in Malaysia Bach Festivals’ St. Matthew Passion. Other recent highlights as concert soloist include Handel's Messiah, Mendelssohn’s Elijah, and Mozart’s Requiem. A native of Austin, Texas, Mr. Bryant received his Bachelors of Music in Vocal Performance from the Sarofim School of Fine Arts at Southwestern University and graduated with his Master of Music from the Eastman School of Music.
